Snow and Avalanche Workshops 2012

This Autumn, Mammut's Avalanche Safety program has been busy attending the International Snow Science Workshop as well as the many regional snow and avalanche workshops throughout the western United States. These include the Northern Rockies Snow and Avalanche Workshop, the Colorado Snow and Avalanche Workshop, and the upcoming (November 2) Utah Snow and Avalanche Workshop.

Regional Snow an Avalanche Workshops are opportunities to connect with your local snow and avalanche community before the season begins. Speakers at these events often include avalanche heavies like Karl Birkeland and Dale Atkins, research scientists on the cutting edge of avalanche safety protocol.

If you are able to attend the USAW in Salt Lake City on November 2, please stop by the Mammut booth where you can update your Pulse beacon to firmware 3.2 or look at this years Removeable Airbag Systems (RAS.)

Also, be sure to check out the new blog, www.mammutavalanchesafety.com to stay informed about Mammut avalanche safety products.
