Sledding and the Northwest Update!

Kids have fun with Mammut too!
I took my 3 year old god-daughter sledding for the first time and she adored it! We are up here in Whistler, awaiting the snow that is suppose to be falling in about an hour. The season in the Northwest has started out great, Stevens, Crystal, Baker, and Whistler are all stacked with snow and more is promised on the way.
Gear this year....
I am really excited to try out some new items from Mammut this season: the ladies Belalp Vest looks like it will be keeping my core warm, and the style of the Alpette Jacket will be keeping me warm and dry in the Northwest snow. With some local trips planned in BC, Idaho, and Washington it will be a busy and exciting winter. In addition, I will be heading to Alaska in mid winter for some ski mountaineering and play time with old friends of the North. I am also hoping to round out my season with another longer adventure abroad...stay tuned!

Mammut Slide Show Night
Lastly, Seattle Athletic Club hosted a benefit night for the Pike Place Foundation in Seattle. I was grateful to be a part of the entertainment for the night! Mammut and Hammer Nutrition helped me host a slide show presentation of my trip to the Arctic Circle last spring. Our adventure through Norway will also be in the January issue of Backcountry Magazine, keep your eyes peeled and thank you again to Mammut for such an incredible opportunity!
